About the job:

As a Senior Android Engineer within Mobile Banking at NAB Vietnam, you’ll own key modules of our global product where you’ll use and grow your experience to architect and build mobile applications to maintain high availability and reliability.

Your Job Responsibilities

1. Provide hands-on leadership to the design, development, and deployment of technical solutions; 
2. Collaborate with other NAB’s technology leaders towards improving and fulfilling the NAB technical direction;
3. Design and code of Android applications
4. Actively participate in all aspects of the software delivery life cycle and associated agile activities that the team undertake
5. Articipate in Agile software development, prototyping, and code review with international development teams and provide timely and constructive feedback
6. Continuous innovation in development practices, team processes, and mobile design
7. Work with delivery teams to achieve success through development using CI/CD and DevOps practices, processes, and tooling;
8. Provide robust coding practices and solid unit and component test coverage, and code debugging.

Your Skills and Experience

Must have

1. 7+ years’ working experience in software development covering mobile application development, especially in Android development (Android Studio/ SDK, Java, at least 01 year with Kotlin).
2. Solid experienced with architectural patterns - Clean Architecture, MVVM, MVC;
3. Experienced with Unit tests, UI Tests, API Testing: Mocks, Stubs;
4. Experienced in build management tools including continuous integration and delivery practices and tools (Gradle, FastLane/Jenkins/Git);
5. Good knowledge and experience with SOLID principles;
6. Good understanding of modern software development practices and automation testing;
7. Good English communication skills (both verbal & written), and problem-solving and analytical skills;

Nice-to-have

1. React Native experience;
2. Microservices approach;
3. Experienced in performance testing, Accessibility for mobile apps;
4. Mobile Apps Security: Application Security Transport, Local Data Storage, Reverse Engineer;
5. Experienced with device fragmentation issues.
6. Experience in the Banking or Financial Services industry;
7. Experience in leading and coaching at least one software engineer team on various projects (for Lead/Principal level)
